We are always looking for Thunder Vista families to get involved and support our students, teachers and staff.  Here are some of the ways you can do that!

Join one of our committees!

Each year we host a few big events and it takes a village to make them successful. If you are interested in supporting one of the following committees reach out to Sarah Kramer for more details:

• Staff Appreciation:

  • Help plan and execute recognition events for all Thunder Vista Staff (staff luncheons, parent teacher conference lunches, coffee cart, holiday cookie exchange, etc)

• Events:

  • ​Help with brainstorming, panning and execution of approved events (carnival, grade-level events, potential new events this school year, etc).​​​​

• Fundraising:

  • Help with brainstorming, planning and execution of approved fundraisers (Silent Auction, School Store, potential new fundraising event this school yet, etc).​

• Comminity Outreach:

  • Help plan PTO efforts to serve the local community, charities, and our partner schools (Centennial Elementary and Westlake Middle) outreach, winter coat/ outwear drive, etc.​

• Grants:

  • Research and apply for grant funding and work with school staff to determine areas of need.  ​

Want to help out, but can't join the board or a committee?  No problem, we host several events throughout the year that require the help of volunteers to support.
